ABOUT THIS WORK

It might be said that in order for some to survive, others must carry them on their backs.  Those others, scapegoats, outsiders -- whether visible and loathed or unseen altogether -- always exist.

This work explores this ambivalent relationship between outsider and group within all manner of social, familial, religious, and economic systems.

Pigeons, people. What’s the difference?
